The inflammation in joints is called arthritis. It can cause pain in single or multiple joints. Though there are many types of arthritis but there are two common types of arthritis the first one is osteoarthritis (OA) and the second one is rheumatoid arthritis (RA).

Its symptoms appear in time but this is more predominant for the older people of age 60 or above but in rare cases, it has also been seen in children, teens, and younger adults.

OA one of the common type of arthritis which is caused because of normal wear and tear. Infection or injury to the joints can increase the rate of natural breakdown of natural tissue. The risk of having OA is higher if you have a family history of the disease.

RA another common type of arthritis that is caused when the immune of the body attacks the tissue of the body these will affect synovium which is the tissue that produces a fluid that nourishes the cartilage and lubricant the joints.

RA is a disease that will destroy the joints which will eventually lead to the destruction of bones and cartilage inside joints.

How is arthritis diagnosed

The doctor will be asked for some physical exercise to see for the fluid around the joints and limited motion around your joints. For severe symptoms, one may go to a specialist for faster treatment.

For identifying what type of arthritis you have doctor may check the inflammation of the blood.

Doctors commonly use imaging scans such as X-ray, MRI, and CT scans to produce an image of your bones and cartilage.

  • Analgesics, such as hydrocodone (Vicodin) or acetaminophen (Tylenol).
  • Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), such as ibuprofen (Advil) and salicylates.
  • Menthol or capsaicin creams
  • Immunosuppressants like prednisone or cortisone help reduce inflammation.

Physical therapy

  • Berries: It contains antioxidants that have been shown to decrease arthritis-related inflammatory.
  • Spinach: Rich in anti-oxidants and kaempferol which helps to reduce the inflammation.
  • Grapes: Grapes have anti-inflammatory properties and contain compounds that may help reduce inflammation.
  • Olive Oil: Olive oil has been shown to reduce inflammation and may be associated with a lower risk of arthritis.
  • Tart Cherry: Tart Cherry JuiceStudies show that tart cherry juice could lower inflammation and alleviate some symptoms of arthritis.
